Anti-Discrimination Policy

Introduction

Purpose

At WeSalute, we are committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive, diverse, and free from discrimination. We believe that every Team Member should be treated with respect and dignity. We prohibit discrimination and harassment in all aspects of employment. This policy applies to all Team Members, contractors, and vendors who work for our company, regardless of their location or role.

Scope

This policy prohibits discrimination and harassment based on any protected characteristic, including but not limited to race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other basis prohibited by law.

Prohibited Conduct

We do not tolerate any behavior or actions that could be considered discriminatory or harassing, including but not limited to:

  • Racial slurs, jokes, or epithets
  • Comments about a person's physical appearance, including weight, height, or age
  • Sexual advances, unwanted physical contact, or sexually explicit comments or gestures
  • Comments or conduct based on a person's gender identity or expression, including misgendering or using incorrect pronouns
  • Derogatory comments or jokes about a person's religion, ethnicity, or nationality
  • Disability-related harassment or bullying
  • Retaliation against an individual for reporting discrimination or harassment or for participating in an investigation
  • Reporting Procedures

Team Members who experience or witness discrimination or harassment should report the incident immediately to their supervisor, HR Coordinator, any other management personnel and submit a case to the PeopleOps Help Desk.

All reports of discrimination or harassment will be taken seriously, investigated promptly and thoroughly, and kept confidential to the extent possible. Retaliation against individuals who report discrimination or harassment or who participate in an investigation is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

Training and Education

We will provide regular training and education on the Anti-Discrimination Policy and on issues related to discrimination and harassment. This will include online training modules, live webinars, and other resources to help Team Members understand their rights and responsibilities and to create a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Conclusion

At WeSalute, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace for all Team Members. We will take all necessary steps to prevent and address incidents of discrimination and harassment and to ensure that every Team Member is treated with respect and dignity.

Policy Review, Disciplinary, & Responsibility

Policy Review

The Anti-Discrimination Policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure effectiveness and compliance with legal requirements and company objectives. Any revisions will be communicated to all Team Members accordingly.

Disciplinary Action

Employees who violate this policy may face disciplinary consequences in proportion to their violation. Any employee found to have engaged in discrimination or harassment in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. WeSalute Management will determine how serious an employee’s offense is and take the appropriate action.

It is the Team Lead, People Operations, and CEO’s responsibility to ensure this policy is followed.
