Purpose

The purpose of the Remote Work Policy at WeSalute is to establish a framework that supports our commitment to providing a flexible and supportive work environment for employees. This policy aims to ensure clarity, consistency, and accountability in remote work practices, promoting productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees of WeSalute who engage in remote work activities. It encompasses guidelines for remote work setup, communication tools, time management, availability, adherence to company policies, and reporting procedures for addressing challenges or issues while working remotely.

Policy Elements

Remote Work Setup All employees must have the necessary equipment and technology to support remote work, including a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace.

Effective Communication Employees are expected to utilize designated communication tools, such as Gmail for work email, Google Meet, and Slack, to facilitate effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Time Management

Employees are responsible for managing their time effectively and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion at a high standard. Utilization of task organizational tools like Fellow, Google Calendar, and Status Hero/Steady is encouraged.

Availability

Employees are expected to be available during regular business hours, defined as 9am to 5pm in the local time zone, unless alternative arrangements are made with their direct supervisor. Prompt responsiveness to urgent requests is required.

Compliance

Remote employees must comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to security, confidentiality, and other relevant guidelines, while working remotely.

Reporting Challenges

Any issues or challenges encountered while working remotely should be promptly reported to a manager or supervisor for resolution and by submitting a ticket to the PeopleOps Help Desk

Violations

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, ranging from verbal warnings to termination, depending on the severity and frequency of non-compliance.

Policy Review

To ensure alignment with evolving best practices and technological advancements, this policy will be periodically reviewed and updated as necessary. Changes to the policy will be communicated to all employees to maintain clarity and transparency in remote work expectations and procedures.

By adhering to these guidelines and fostering a collaborative remote work culture, WeSalute employees can contribute to the continued success and productivity of the company in a remote work environment.

Disciplinary Action

Employees who violate this policy may face disciplinary consequences in proportion to their violation. WeSalute management will determine how serious an employee’s offense is and take the appropriate action.
